Arts1 Online School Programme
An online accessed school to assist with the COVID-19 pandemic

OUR WORK
The Brief
As things went sideways for a lot of us with the COVID-19 pandemic, Arts1 came to us for a solution to their school being closed: an online school programme. They were hosting videos on Vimeo for students to access. They needed a website that linked current students and new potential students to these online classes.
The Challenge
The project was time sensitive as online classes were already happening. We had to create the site quickly, but also make it functional and visual for creative students.

14 Classes To Choose From
The emphasis was to make it easy for existing and new students alike to find their online class', even with there being multiple on show. We did this by using provided graphics.

Lazy Loading Assets
With over 30 large images and videos to be loaded on the homepage, we made these assets only load when they were in the viewport or interacted with.

Generating New Leads
As well as providing content for Arts1's current students, we were asked to create a way to generate new leads. We decided to make an introduction page with pricing tiers, giving the visitor to opportunity to choose their desired classes.
Class Chooser
We created an advanced class selector, allowing the user to add and remove classes as they please, updating the price accordingly, which then linked to a HTML form.
HTML Emails
Following the site's styles, we created a HTML email that send a refined version to the Arts1 team, and a more visual version to the prospect.

Easy To Use Content Management System
We made the platform easy to manage and add / edit classes, giving Arts1 the opportunity to easily add new classes as and when their online school expanded.
Choosing a class time, with an automatic countdown clock.

Add a new industry professional and masterclass time, automatically chronologically orders times and image cropping.

Creating a new live class time, automatically ordering the days.

Appending Content
Instead of having a tabbing system as the viewport will be too small, we added all the content below the previous. Allowing the user to scroll through the page without confusion.

Hidden Elements
As there was a lot of content, we decided that on a phone - it would be best to hide this Allowing the user to choose if they want to read more. Keeping the page small for mobile views.
